Car exhaust — an invisible killer around you!

Studies have found that air pollution caused by excessive emissions from diesel vehicles is responsible for 5,000 deaths a year in European countries.

In recent years, with the rapid development of the economy and the continuous improvement of science and technology, the number of cars in various countries has been increasing year by year. The rapid growth of automobile ownership not only brings great inconvenience to road traffic but also causes great damage and pollution to the atmospheric environment by the exhaust gas discharged by automobiles every year.

Hazards from diesel emissions?

According to the investigation, the number of soot particles in diesel exhaust is 30 ~ 100 times that of gasoline engines. This seriously pollutes the environment and endangers human health. As engine technology improved, the tiny particles became too small to hang on paper towels and had to be removed with a filter. Once inhaled, tiny particles from diesel engines stick to the lungs, and immune cells can’t even recognize and remove them. Over time, this can lead to lung inflammation, respiratory disease, cardiovascular disease, and, in the long term, lung cancer.

An estimated 1,100 to 2,200 people die of lung cancer each year in Germany because of tiny particles in diesel engine exhaust. Diesel-engine emissions are also responsible for an alarming 8, 000-17, 000 deaths from diseases such as respiratory and cardiovascular disease, accounting for 1-2 percent of Germany’s annual deaths.

The emergence of DPF

DPF stands for diesel particulate filter. These filters are used to minimize the number of hazardous particulates that escape the exhaust systems of diesel vehicles. The goal is to make the surrounding air cleaner and safer, especially in confined spaces.

Diesel particulate filters can filter more than 80% of carbon smoke particles. It’s emergence is of great help to solve the problem of air pollution.

How do diesel particulate filters work?

Diesel Particulate Filters (DPF) catch soot particles to avoid them exiting the exhaust system. As any filter, they must be emptied regularly to maintain performance. For a DPF this process is called ‘regeneration’. In this process, the collected soot is burnt off at high temperature to leave only ash.

Why does DPF need to be cleaned?

The DPF acts as a filter that intercepts particulate matter in the engine exhaust.

However, with the increase of the number of intercepted particles, DPF will also be blocked by carbon particles, resulting in the increase of exhaust back pressure of the engine and the decrease of power and economy.

At this time, it is necessary to use some method to burn off the intercepted particles and turn them into gas to be discharged, so as to empty the space inside the DPF. This process is called DPF regeneration.

DPF regeneration can be divided into active regeneration and passive regeneration. Active regeneration refers to the external means to raise the temperature in DPF so that the particles trapped in DPF can be fired and burned into gas and discharged. The common means include electric heating regeneration and DOC pre-injection regeneration.

DPF passive regeneration refers to the uncontrollable regeneration method in which DPF oxidizes soot all the time during daily use. The main ways are adding combustion-supporting agent to fuel and applying a catalyst on DPF.

Not 100% of the particles trapped in DPF can be burned, and there is always some non-combustible matter left, which is called ash matter.

As engine oil is used, ash in DPF accumulates and takes up space previously used to capture carbon particles.

Since neither active nor passive regeneration can remove these substances, other cleaning methods are needed.

Kingkar launched the DPF cleaner used to clean these ash substances.

Kingkar DPF cleaning machine can quickly clean and 100 % your vehicle’s DPF system.

1. Unique technology — alternate process of water washing and high pressure air purification is adopted.

2. Easy to operate – Simply place the DPF on the KingKar Cleaner, press Start and Wait.

3. Effective cleaning -15s primary wave vibration, warm water + cleaning fluid circulation cleaning, more effective cleaning DPF

Energy conservation and emission reduction is not just a slogan, but also a way of life.It is the common responsibility of human beings to protect the health of atmospheric environment, which is also the direction of Kingkar’s efforts.

In order to save the atmosphere environment, it is not only necessary to rely on the government to introduce relevant laws and regulations to limit the emission of pollutants, but more important is that everyone has the awareness of environmental protection.
